Transportation

Please arrive in DC on March 18th with time to attend the PFFA Member Breakout Sessions. These sessions allow members to meet with other members in the same membership category (NPO, PFA, or AFF) and discuss opportunities and challenges that may be specific to them!  This is a wonderful opportunity to share and learn.

If you are flying into DCA, you can follow this link to access ground transportation and a Metro Rail map.  The Metro can be accessed at DCA airport and the National Audubon Society is just a few minutes walk from the Farragut West stop on the Blue line train.  Taking the Metro will take approximately 23 minutes.

If you are flying into Dulles, you can follow this link to access ground transportation and the Metro Rail map.  The Metro can now be accessed from Dulles Airport.  Travel to the National Audubon Society takes approximately one hour on the Silver Line.

If you are traveling by AMTRAK into Union Station, you may take the Red Line toward Shady Grove on the Metro Rail and exit at Farragut North.

For detailed trip planning and Metro usage in and around the DC/Maryland/Virginia (DMV) area, please you can use the Metro Trip Planner

Paid parking is available at National Audubon Society, 1828 L St NW, Washington DC 20036 and around.  For additional paid parking options, please find the National Audubon Society (in blue) and additional parking options in red on this map.

Lodging

There is no shortage of lodging options in the DMV.  We have put together a list of potential and reasonable hotel options that are less than one mile from the National Audubon Society and at least 3-star rated.  For more economical options, we suggest you try locations North West on the Red line between Dupont and Bethesda.
